Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar stations, and food prep zones
• Assist with food handling, food safety protocols, and proper food preparation procedures
• Support team members with bussing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage offerings to educate guests and recommend pairings
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards at all times

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs gracefully
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts in fast-paced environments
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with cocktail mixing, beverage service, and wine knowledge enhances your candidacy
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude
• Basic math skills for handling bills, change, and sales calculations confidently
