Server/Cashier

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and efficient cashiering. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and balancing registers at shift end
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to maintain quality standards and food safety compliance
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, counters, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high service standards

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS or similar platforms
• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper sanitation procedures
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Experience in food handling, food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards in a food industry setting
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
• Hospitality-minded with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling techniques

Pay: $18.25-$24.33 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
