Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Prepare simple food items and assist in food preparation to ensure timely service
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, sanitizing work areas, and adhering to food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, serving, and ensuring proper sanitation in accordance with health regulations

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety protocols
• Ability to manage time effectively in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Familiarity with food industry standards including sanitation, serving, and bussing procedures
• Previous restaurant or café experience is highly desirable; retail math skills are a plus
