Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate the Toast POS systems for processing transactions efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and balancing the register at the end of shifts.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Skills

• Familiarity with Toast POS systems is a must.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately, including retail math knowledge.
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations in the restaurant industry.
• Previous experience in serving, cashiering, or other roles within the food industry is advantageous.

Pay: $12.00 - $28.00 per hour
