The previous role focused on helping customers get answers and keeping requests moving. This position takes those same people skills into a faster-paced environment where you’ll be dealing with customers face-to-face, taking orders, handling payments, and making sure each interaction is handled properly.

We’re looking for a Server/Cashier in Miami, FL who is comfortable speaking with people, can stay focused when several customers need attention at once, and understands the importance of getting both the service and transaction details right.

If you have experience in customer support, retail, hospitality, or another people-facing role, this could be a good opportunity to put those skills into a more hands-on position.

Day to Day

• Welcome customers and assist them with orders and general enquiries
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system
• Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods
• Provide receipts and check transactions for accuracy
• Prepare and serve customer orders according to established procedures
• Answer questions about menu items, orders, and available services
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team members to keep orders moving
• Keep counters, tables, service areas, and other customer-facing spaces organized
• Restock packaging, drinks, condiments, and other supplies throughout the shift
• Check completed orders before handing them to customers
• Handle straightforward customer concerns and involve a manager when appropriate
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and other routine shift duties

What’s Important

You’ll need good communication skills, basic numeracy, attention to detail, and a professional approach when dealing with customers. Comfort using a register, POS system, or basic computer software will be helpful.

Previous customer support, server, cashier, restaurant, hospitality, retail, food service, or customer service experience is useful, although training on the role and internal procedures will be provided.

We’re looking for someone who can remain approachable during busy periods, follow established procedures, work accurately with payments and orders, and contribute positively to the wider team.
