Server/Cashier – Albert’s Mofongo

Albert’s Mofongo is looking for an energetic, friendly, and hardworking Server/Cashier to join our team! We are a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking restaurant, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Operate our POS system to process orders and payments
• Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and make change accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
• Answer customer questions about menu items and provide recommendations when needed
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure orders are prepared correctly
• Package and serve food and beverages according to restaurant standards
• Follow restaurant procedures for cash handling, opening/closing, and cleanliness
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
• Support other team members and assist with additional restaurant duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a server, cashier, or in a similar restaurant/customer service position
• Experience handling cash and processing payments
• Comfortable using a POS system
• Comfortable working in a bilingual English and Spanish-speaking environment
• Energetic, approachable, and friendly personality
• Kind, respectful, and professional with customers and coworkers
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to be a team player
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced restaurant
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Flexible scheduling: We are willing to work with your availability and offer flexibility with hours
