Server/Cashier

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Waitstaff/Hostess to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing guest seating, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have experience with Japanese hibachi and sushi cuisine, enabling them to assist guests with menu selections and special requests. The position offers an engaging environment where hospitality and attentiveness are valued.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating process efficiently.
• Take customer orders accurately, with a focus on Japanese hibachi and sushi menu items, offering recommendations when appropriate.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Assist in coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, or concerns professionally to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, host station, and service stations throughout shifts.
• Support waitstaff during busy periods by delivering food and refilling beverages as needed.
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a Waitstaff or Hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Experience with Japanese hibachi and sushi cuisine is highly desirable, as it enables better guest engagement and menu knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
