Server/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit
• Process all sales transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision, ensuring proper change and receipt issuance
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, beverage stations, and dining spaces
• Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants, fine dining establishments, or nightlife venues preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash safely
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is a plus
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required
