Server/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process payments efficiently with cash handling and cashiering skills while ensuring accuracy
• Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales and guest satisfaction
• Manage reservations through OpenTable or similar platforms and coordinate guest seating arrangements
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling and food safety practices to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order processing accurately
• Experience with serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or food preparation is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
