Server/Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, taking orders, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, able to communicate effectively with diverse customers, and maintain a professional demeanor throughout their shift.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Handle cash register operations, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including tables, counters, and workstations.
• Stay busy during shifts by attending to customer needs and assisting team members as needed.
• Communicate clearly with team members in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth operations.
• Remain attentive to customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards while on duty.
• Stay off personal devices during work hours to focus on providing excellent service.

Skills

• Prior food service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with customers and team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude.
• Ability to stay busy and engaged during shifts without distractions such as phone use or watching devices.
• Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
