Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
• Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, bar, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
• Use open table reservation systems to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service to educate guests and recommend pairings
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Culinary or beverage knowledge including cocktail experience, wine expertise, spirits familiarity, and drink service techniques
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
• Hospitality mindset with a passion for creating welcoming atmospheres for guests
