Server/Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves taking customer orders, processing payments, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Process payments efficiently through cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining spaces and cashier stations
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions or concerns professionally
• Follow all restaurant policies related to food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards

Skills

• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the guest experience
• Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are beneficial but not mandatory
