Server/Cashier

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service, including beverage and food delivery with professionalism and enthusiasm
• Process all sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, wine selections, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling areas, dining spaces, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation, beverage service, and bussing tables to ensure smooth restaurant operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when needed and adhere to all health codes related to food industry standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or food industry background is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining guest satisfaction

Pay: $11.00 - $27.47 per hour
