Server/Cocktail Server

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. As a Beverage Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring that patrons enjoy their experience while receiving timely and accurate beverage orders. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing them with menus and information about beverage options.
• Take beverage orders accurately and relay them to the bar or kitchen staff.
• Serve drinks to guests in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation.
• Manage the cash register, processing payments accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally, providing solutions as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts.
• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
• Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Familiarity with bussing techniques to assist in maintaining a clean dining environment.
• Sales skills to promote beverage specials or upsell items when appropriate.
