Overview

As a Server, you will be key to creating memorable dining experiences by providing warm hospitality, fast and accurate service, and delicious meals that brighten our guests' days. Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm, genuine smile as soon as they enter the restaurant.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Tray POS system, and communicate special requests clearly to the kitchen team.
• Be able to learn the IHOP menu, including seasonal specials, and assist guests with selections and dietary needs.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and check in frequently to ensure guests have everything they need.
• Ensure orders meet IHOP’s high quality and presentation standards before serving.
• Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Work closely with the kitchen and fellow team members to keep service flowing smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area.
• Help with closing/opening duties, including cleaning tables, resetting the dining room, and restocking supplies for the next shift.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!
• Strong communication and guest service skills — a positive, can-do attitude is a must.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
