Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Process cash and card transactions smoothly while handling cash handling responsibilities responsibly
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food safety standards, wine pairings, and beverage options like spirits and cocktails
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and sanitation standards are met
• Manage guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure a positive dining experience
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed in a fast-paced environment
• Keep the dining area clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation regulations including proper food handling practices
• Utilize reservation systems such as OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize guest flow

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tables simultaneously with excellent time management skills
• Experience processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards required for food handling roles
• Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in hospitality settings

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 22.0 per week
