Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guests efficiently, maintaining presentation quality and temperature standards
• Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting tables quickly to optimize turnover
• Process customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash transactions and sales processing
• Provide knowledgeable beverage service, including spirits, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, while upselling specials to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations; handle food safely during delivery and service
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or garnishing when needed to ensure timely service
• Engage with guests warmly to foster positive guest relations, answer questions about menu items including wine knowledge and food industry details, and promote specials or upselling opportunities

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles such as serving, bussing, or hosting in restaurants or nightlife venues
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales transactions
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including spirits, cocktails, wine, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to handle guest inquiries professionally
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures in a restaurant environment
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus; ability to adapt quickly in high-energy environments
