Hills of Herat is looking for dependable, friendly, and professional servers to join our team. We are hiring for all shifts, with a particular need for lunch shift coverage. We value our employees and do our best to work with everyone's schedules to create a schedule that works for both our team and the restaurant.

Important: This is an hourly position. Pay is not based on tips.

Pay and Benefits

• $19–$21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Hiring for all shifts
• Lunch shift availability is especially needed
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is strongly preferred
• Holiday availability is required
• Must be dependable and punctual for scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service
• Seat guests when needed and provide menus, water, and sauces
• Take orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the kitchen
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Answer questions about menu items and assist guests with their selections
• Check on guests throughout their meals and address concerns professionally
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hospitality

Qualifications

• Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods
• Willingness to help with duties beyond taking orders when needed
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail
