Server/Helper/Food Runner/Parttime

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during shifts
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality
• Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in bussing tables, host/host duties, or nightclub service is a plus
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members seamlessly within a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
