Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar booking systems to optimize seating flow
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction from the moment they arrive
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform basic math for bills and tips
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously
• Support kitchen staff with basic food handling or food preparation tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Previous experience as a server or host/hostess in a restaurant setting preferred, especially within fine dining or nightlife environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill calculations
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $7.25 per hour
