We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Host to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is the heartbeat of our dining experience, combining warm guest interactions with efficient service and seamless coordination. As a Server/Host, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems, and seat guests efficiently to reduce wait times
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions swiftly and correctly
• Provide detailed menu guidance, including wine and spirits recommendations, upselling specials, and promoting signature cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation standards, and timely delivery to guests’ tables
• Assist in bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while processing sales transactions efficiently
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously to foster a welcoming environment

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation platforms
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs effectively
• Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing sales records efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
