Server/Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable
• Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed
• Utilize POS systems effectively, including Micros POS, to process orders efficiently

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation measurements
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service
• Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality
• Strong attention to detail in drink preparation and presentation

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60 per hour
