Server/Kitchen Assistant

SERVER / KITCHEN ASSISTANT – ALL ROUNDER

Hole in the Wall – Waterloo, Liverpool

We’re looking for a friendly, hardworking Server / Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Hole in the Wall.

This is an all-rounder role, so we need someone who is happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing. One minute you might be serving customers or making drinks, the next you could be helping in the kitchen, running food, prepping, clearing tables or jumping on the pot wash.

The role will include:

• Taking orders and serving customers
• Running food and clearing tables
• Making coffees, cold drinks and milkshakes
• Helping with basic food preparation
• Supporting the kitchen during busy services
• Cleaning and keeping work areas organised
• Washing up and general kitchen duties
• Opening/closing duties
• Helping the team wherever needed

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is friendly, confident and good with customers
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Is reliable and turns up ready to work
• Doesn’t mind getting stuck in with cleaning and the less glamorous jobs!
• Can work well as part of a small team
• Can use their initiative rather than waiting to be told what needs doing
• Is flexible and available for weekends and evening shifts
• Ideally has hospitality experience, although the right attitude is just as important

We’re a busy independent American-style diner serving breakfasts, burgers, coffees, shakes and our famous Munchie Boxes, so shifts can get very busy!

We want someone who enjoys hospitality, has a bit of personality and understands that in a small independent business everyone helps everyone.

Hours: Part-time or full time - hours to be discussed
Pay: Dependent on age and experience
Location: Hole in the Wall, Waterloo, Liverpool
