Job Overview

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Servers to join our vibrant hospitality team! As a Server, you will be the heart of the guest experience, delivering exceptional service in a lively and welcoming environment. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Upsell menu items, including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation and setup for service when needed, supporting kitchen staff as part of the team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, tables, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation regulations
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage guest seating efficiently
• Provide expert knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktail offerings to educate guests and recommend pairings
• Handle guest inquiries professionally, ensuring excellent guest relations and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is preferred
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and drink presentation techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food handling
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately and handle cashiering responsibilities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and processing payments accurately
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for the food industry is essential
• Hospitality background with strong guest relations skills to create welcoming environments
