Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables and reset dining areas promptly
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with processing sales transactions efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and processing payments accurately
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with serving techniques such as bussing tables and host/hostess duties is a plus
