Job Summary

We are a new restaurant, Krave, looking to expand our hours and seeking experienced servers with varying hours between 8 am to 8 pm. Flexible scheduling. Experience preferred. We serve comfort food mixed with brunch style foods. We will be expanding our full service coffee bar. Please apply in person at address provided, 22000 23 Mile Rd. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash safely and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation, beverage mixing, and cocktail creation to support bar operations when needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
• Support opening or closing duties including setup, breakdown, inventory checks, and POS reconciliation

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances your ability to upsell effectively
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is advantageous but not mandatory
• Food handling certifications and knowledge of sanitation standards are preferred but can be obtained upon hire

Pay: $22.95 - $27.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
