Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments
• Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas including tables, bar, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring food safety and proper handling procedures are followed
• Support team members with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and managing guest relations in a lively setting such as a nightclub or fine dining environment

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required by the restaurant’s hours of operation
