Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout private dining events
• Present menus, explain dishes, and offer wine and beverage recommendations with enthusiasm
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and handling
• Set up private dining spaces according to event specifications, including table arrangements and ambiance details
• Manage order accuracy using POS systems, process payments, and handle cash or credit transactions smoothly
• Assist with food preparation, plating, and bussing to ensure a clean and organized dining area
• Collaborate with culinary team to coordinate timing of courses and special requests for each event
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, wine pairings, and beverage options to enhance guest experience
• Uphold cleanliness standards by regularly bussing tables, sanitizing service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Engage with guests proactively to foster positive relationships and address any special needs or concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles within the food industry is highly preferred
• Culinary experience or banquet experience that demonstrates knowledge of fine dining standards is a plus
• Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Familiarity with serving techniques, beverage service—including wine knowledge—and food handling procedures
• Experience operating POS systems for order processing and payments efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation practices
• Strong communication skills coupled with basic math proficiency for accurate bill calculations and transactions
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days is essential
