Servers, waiters and waitresses

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders ensuring special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation quality and proper beverage service techniques including cocktail and spirits service
• Upsell menu items like wines, specialty cocktails, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash, credit card transactions, and handle POS systems accurately while managing cash handling responsibilities responsibly
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate effectively with team members to support smooth operations

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
