Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Provide attentive guest service, addressing questions and resolving any issues courteously.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables, service stations, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety regulations and proper handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently during busy periods by prioritising tasks effectively.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance throughout shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
• Good communication skills with a friendly, guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 30.0 per week
