Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations and sanitation protocols
• Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks when necessary to support kitchen operations
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management, ensuring all guests are attended to promptly and courteously

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Experience with food industry standards such as serving, upselling, and food safety regulations
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy setting
• Kitchen experience or familiarity with food preparation is advantageous but not required
