Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, positive attitude
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings, to enhance the dining experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift
• Handle guest inquiries promptly, resolve concerns professionally, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
• Upsell menu items when appropriate to maximize sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant serving roles preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate order entry and bill calculation
• Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn about food preparation is valued
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: £12.71-£19.44 per hour
