Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service to enhance their dining or take-out experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions
• Upsell menu items, including specialty drinks and desserts, to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately while processing payments efficiently through POS systems like Toast
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling, bussing tables, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation or plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, or special requests with professionalism
• Manage take-out orders with precision using OpenTable or similar platforms for seamless order management and timely delivery
• Support the team by coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, fine dining experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards in the food industry
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently using good time management skills during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Experience working in nightlife environments such as nightclubs is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication skills along with hospitality mindset to create welcoming atmospheres for all guests

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
