Server/Wait Staff

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and promotions, while effectively upselling items.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Assist with cash handling and basic math tasks during the payment process.
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service and responding to inquiries.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in full service dining.
• Familiarity with basic POS skills, OpenTable systems is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Part-time

Expected Hours: 15-30 hrs/week

Pay: Minimum Wage plus tips. Average $120.00 - $350.00 per shift
