Server/Wait Staff

Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Server/Wait Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and a passion for guest service are essential. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, courteous service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated
• Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of tables, side stations, and service areas
• Handle guest queries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations diligently
• Assist with basic food preparation or setup as required during quieter periods
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the service flow
• Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining high standards of service

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and serving protocols
• Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks when needed
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in order-taking and presentation
• Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
• Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
• Kitchen or culinary experience is beneficial but not essential
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential
