Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining establishments and possess a passion for hospitality and Italian cuisine. As a Server at Buon Appetito, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and detailed knowledge of our menu and wine selections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings, demonstrating a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and fine dining service.
• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure the timely delivery of orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff as needed.
• Provide attentive table service, including clearing plates, refilling drinks, and anticipating guests' needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and poise.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
• Upsell menu items and wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a server in fine dining or upscale establishments.
• Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, wines, and dining etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A polished and professional appearance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Knowledge of MICROS (POS) systems is a plus.
