Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong guest relations skills and have a passion for the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service in a fine dining environment while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, including Aloha POS, and relay them to the kitchen staff efficiently.
• Provide detailed menu information, including specials and recommendations, to enhance the dining experience.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests.
• Participate in food preparation as needed to support the kitchen team during busy periods.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations within the restaurant.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or fine dining is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest relations skills with an ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed.
