Waiter/Waitress – Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent dining service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen/bar.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly.
• Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Check on customers throughout their meal and respond to their needs.
• Handle payments and process bills accurately.
• Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and organized.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
• Work effectively with kitchen staff and other team members.
• Handle customer concerns politely and report issues to management.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or customer-service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and dependable attitude.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $6.75 - $7.00 per hour
