Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service while enjoying their meals.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the Aloha POS system for order processing.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the dining experience and encourage upselling.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
• Assist with closing duties, including cash handling and preparing the restaurant for the next shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong guest relations skills with an emphasis on hospitality and customer service.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with culinary terminology and menu items is advantageous.
• Proficiency in time management to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
