Server/Waiter

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment at Spicy Zaika. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting with various tasks to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and dining room throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food service practices, including food preparation techniques, is a plus.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
