Server/Waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast paced, casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that each guest has an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The listed hourly wage does not include tips. We are specifically looking for people that can work on Sundays and weekends in general. If weekends are unavailable then applying is not necessary.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining proper sanitation standards.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.

Skills

• Proficient in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
• Excellent guest relations skills to create memorable experiences for patrons.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• A helpful attitude towards both guests and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred but not required.

Pay: $4.74 - $6.00 per hour
