Server/Waiter

Position Summary:
The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive service to guests while accurately taking orders, delivering food and drinks, handling payments, and helping create a welcoming dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Explain menu items, answer questions, and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Deliver orders promptly and check back with guests to ensure everything is correct.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other payments accurately.
• Keep tables, dining areas, service stations, and guest areas clean and organized.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
• Restock cups, napkins, condiments, silverware, and other front-of-house supplies as needed.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen and other team members to help keep service running smoothly.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, alcohol-service, and company policies.
• Help teammates when needed and perform other front-of-house duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Serving or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, friendly, and comfortable working with the public.
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and safely carry trays, dishes, and typical restaurant supplies.
• Must be able to accurately handle orders and payments.
• Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required depending on the schedule.
• Must meet any applicable age or certification requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
