Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about the menu
• Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
• Enter orders into the POS system or cash register accurately
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and addressing any issues or concerns
• Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a server or in the hospitality industry preferred
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Knowledge of culinary terms and food handling practices is beneficial
