Server/Waiter

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using POS system.
• Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
• Buss tables promptly after guests leave to maintain a clean dining environment for incoming patrons.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to provide informed recommendations to guests.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for processing payments accurately.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and requests simultaneously.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail in order taking and food presentation is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.52 - $24.77 per hour
