Server/Waiter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables will be essential to your success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure all food handling and sanitation guidelines are followed.
• Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash register operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell when appropriate.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with POS system is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds if necessary.
• A passion for culinary arts and sales is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.52 - $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
