Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service in our vibrant nightclub setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a bustling atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the OpenTable system or similar software.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Process cash transactions accurately, including handling tips and sales efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for special events or busy nights.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a nightclub or high-energy restaurant environment, is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation practices is essential.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively to guests.
• Experience using restaurant management software such as OpenTable is a plus.
• A background in culinary arts or hospitality can be advantageous but is not required.
