Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an outstanding dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and a friendly demeanor.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling items to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Process payments efficiently through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
• Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations, ensuring a safe dining environment for all guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable systems is advantageous.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to engage with guests positively, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
• Experience in sales or upselling techniques within the hospitality industry is beneficial.
