Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience and throughout incoming calls for take out orders
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including beer and wine selections, maintaining proper drink presentation and service standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Clear tables swiftly and bus tables to prepare for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards in line with sanitation protocols
• Assist in food handling and preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings of Thai food including food specials to provide expert recommendations
• Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally and courteously
• Uphold food safety standards and sanitation regulations at all times to ensure a safe dining environment

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in sales processing
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
• Basic math skills for bill calculations and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards required for responsible food handling
• Experience in bussing tables or supporting host/hostess duties is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
