Server/Waiter/Waitress

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and guest-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service - A base-knowledge of African food is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items
• Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a professional and courteous manner
• Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
• Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
• Assist with food preparation as needed

Skills:

• Basic math skills for accurately processing payments
• Experience with cash registers or POS systems
• Knowledge of sanitation guidelines for handling food and beverages
• Culinary skills for assisting with food preparation is a plus
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
