Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail recipes to assist guests with recommendations.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld throughout service, including proper food handling and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns proactively.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs professionally.
• Ability to upsell beverages, spirits, wine, and menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
• Familiarity with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
